Streaked Hostas Streakin' to your front door We started Silvers-Elbert Nursery in 1991, gradually we grew to be an established retailer at the Atlanta Farmers Market where we continue our great business of selling hostas. We started about 10 years ago dwelling into what we call "streakers". Over the last 10 years we have tried to develop certain varieties in the tissue culture labs, it was slow at first but now we have developed into one of the largest in the country, we continually add new varieties as they become available. We hope you enjoy these plants as much as we have enjoyed growing them! Here we strive to bring you the best and most unusual streaked hostas we can. Most of our plants are of tissue culture way, if they are original stock plants they will be labeled as such. The pictures you see are not necessarily the plants for sale, our goal on this website is to see that you get the best streaked plant we have. Most of the pics in the coming months will be mature pictures to show you what it will look like when it "grows up" Some of the varieties are limited, we are coming out with new streakers each year, so keep us bookmarked and check in often |
